​Ventana BanchMark GX represents instrument of the latest generation for automated tissue preparation and staining, whose main features are quality, flexibility, reliability and productivity. Product specifications:
 
  • The instrument is for automatic preparation of tissues throughout process of baking deparaffinisation up to staining, which allows to increase the menu of tests that will work and to process more tissues, more effectively and in a shorter time. Possibility of making 60 tissues during the day such as 2 sets of 20 slides during working hours and setting up another 20 at night
  • The device consists of three modules:
    • Coloring Module: which creates kinetic optimized environment for automated tissue preparation:
      • 25 positions for reagents
      • 20 positions for slides
      • Chance of recognizing slides and orders via barcode
    • Fluid module: it holds the system reagents monitored through sensors and automatically are distributed into the staining module on
    • Waste Module: is composed of liquid waste tank sensor and a capacity of 60 developed tissues that prevent eventual overflow if the staff is not in the lab.
  • Possibility to connect up to 8 instruments like Nexes Special Stains, XT GX on one computer
  • Ability to work with barcode slides which reduces the possibility of error
  • Ready To Use reagents and their registration through coded chip which enables their easy identification by lot, serial number and date.
  • The use of this system increases the flexibility quality and productivity:
    • Flexibility – with the possibility of optimizing protocols work for IHC, ISH, FISH, SISH and FITC in a way that is most suitable for laboratory personnel.
    • Quality – through controlled and kinetic optimized environment during the reaction it improves the quality of the coloring, the consistency and reproducibility
    • Productivity – the automation of the whole process allows up to 25% increase in the speed of the test preparation as well as up to 80% staff reduction of manual labor which allows to the personnel to carry out other obligations.
  • The Ventana instruments have several technical solutions that are protected by patents and cannot be used by any other manufacturer, such as:
    • Liquid Coverslip – cover slide with a special oil that protects it against drying, enables stable reaction inside the oil cover as well as the sample stability.
    • Air – Vortex Mixers – allows for equal distribution of the reagent and complete coverage of the slide staining making it consistent around the slide.
